Residence Inn by Marriott Tampa Downtown

Staying here for a gymnastics event. The studio room was very spacious. The only negative to the room was that the bathroom tubs were dated. The parking the parking garage was not the best. The parking spots are very small so if you have a large vehicle it will be a very tight fit in the spots. Check in was easy. I will update review after breakfast tomorrow.

Our team recently stayed at the Residence Inn Tampa Downtown, and the experience was nothing short of fantastic. The rooms were clean, spacious, and perfect for an extended stay. The location is incredibly convenient, and the overall atmosphere made it easy for our team to feel relaxed and well taken care of. Her professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine hospitality made the planning process seamless from start to finish. She truly elevated the entire experience. If you're considering a stay in the downtown area, I highly recommend this hotel. Exceptional service, great amenities, and a team that truly cares about their guests. This location is really excellent. It’s walking distance from the Straz, Armature Works, Riverwalk, and much more. The staff was excellent. We were checked in by Katiya during the weekend shift and she was the kindest, warmest, most welcoming hotel attendant I’ve ever encountered. The only downside was the bathroom. The faucet had a constant leak and overall the bathroom needed updating, it was dingy and cracked. Overall, would stay again, and we would look forward to encountering Katiya again.

Great location. Right in the middle of the city literally so expect to hear cars. Obviously. Everything within walking distance. Was perfect for gaspiralla weekend. Rooms were clean. Hot breakfast. The girls at the desk so sweet and asked Everytime how everything was and made sure we were happy. Would definitely recommend.

In town for wedding, room was big with very comfortable bed, frig, stove, microwave, service was excellent, staff was very helpful, hot breakfast ver good, Negatives: only one elevator was working and very slow, parking is in a garage across street, spaces are Very small and cost $25 a day, bathroom needs major Updates, old tub toilet, etc...

Had to unfortunately visit the hospital in Tampa and stayed here. Rick and Katina were the two people that helped us with check in and check out. They were both very friendly and super accommodating. While my wife stayed at the hospital, I was able to bring her over in the morning and easily get a later checkout so she could have a chance to catch up on some sleep. The entire staff was very pleasent, including the cleaning crew. May not be the fanciest hotel, but they nail it where it absolutely counts!

Staff was absolutely amazing! Helped us with any and everything we needed even gave us a bunch of recommendations of things to do during our stay, made our first time in Tampa a great time! Will definitely be back 10/10

Close to the port of Tampa. We stayed here for a night before a cruise. Our room had a queen bed, with a sofa hide a bed. It also had a full kitchen with utensils. Fridge, microwave, toaster, stove and sink. Staff was friendly and helpful.
